Clase Azul México transforms each handcrafted decanter into a cultural object — a collectible that honors Mexican tradition while elevating it through design and storytelling. The challenge: bring together three geographically and aesthetically distinct Mexican traditions — Oaxacan black clay ceramics, Huichol bead art, and Durango's mezcal heritage — into a single, coherent object. The risk was a visual collage that felt forced rather than unified. The solution was to assign each tradition its own territory within the object. The body — carved black clay — speaks to Oaxacan artisanal mastery and provides the vessel's architectural gravity. The cap — a hand-beaded Huichol dome in vibrant color — introduces spiritual dimension and striking visual contrast. The mezcal production process from Durango gives the object its soul: centuries of patience, knowledge, and ritual distilled into every drop. The result is a decanter where contrast becomes coherence. Three cultures, each given space to speak, together telling a story that no single tradition could carry alone.
